AI-powered nvbird® Preconstruction assesses bird and bat activity at wind farm sites, ensuring sustainable, eco-friendly energy project planning.

nvbird® preconstruction is an advanced system for pre-assessing bird and bat activity in areas designated for wind farms or other constructions. Powered by AI, it allows for taking preemptive measures to control a green energy investment’s environmental impact and sustainability level.

How it works

The system is installed in a strategic position from where the 3D radar covering a surrounding area of 5 km instantly detects birds or bats entering the area.

If a bird or bat approaches within 500 m of the installation, the HD camera captures its image and the system identifies and categorizes it using AI and machine learning algorithms.
